scenes of summer.

…or maybe just the scenes of fourth of july weekend ;) Either way, these pictures do sum up some of our summer. These pictures were all taken during our week at the lake. Ah, to go back there again..it was such a relaxing time away…I loved it! Mainly because we were able to take a deep breath and step away from everything for a bit. What a whirlwind the past few months have been!! We have moved into our new house and are still in the process of unpacking, remodeling, and painting. It has been a crazy month but I am so excited and thankful to be in our new home!! It will be so nice to get everything organized and out of boxes and get caught up on laundry (but then again, am I ever really caught up on laundry anyway?!) ;) Even though this summer has been flying by, I’ve been learning to soak it up and take it all in. I’ve loved spending my time with my two boys and not shooting as many weddings and sessions this summer. Yes, sometimes doing less really is an absolute blessing! Anywho, here are a few photos that we took during the beginning of July…
