It’s officially the first day of fall! This is definitely one of my favorite seasons of the year. Crisp cool air, sunny skies, pumpkin patches, carmel apples…what’s not to love! It’s one of the most beautiful times of the year and I try my best to soak it in because sometimes it doesn’t seem to last long. I’ve tried to decorate our house a bit for the season and put those amazing wallflower scent things from bath and body works around the rooms. (The pumpkin cupcake scent is the best!! Haha But really, it is.) Anywho, hope you have a beautiful first day of autumn!! Enjoy this gorgeous weather & I hope your day is blessed!
This burlap garland was super easy to make! I bought special burlap garland from Hobby Lobby then hot glued some fabric fall flowers to it :)
Our deck is looking some-what color which I love!

Wow, your red brick fireplace is stunning! It adds such a autumn-like warmth to the room. And those flowers are so beautiful! I love the bright colours. You are an amazing decorator!

Your mantel is so simple and elegant. I absolutely love it all.
I realized my sad (getting older) eyes took forever to figure out what the ‘season of…’ said. I even brought the screen to my face and still couldn’t make it out in the first picture. Thank goodness you showed another photo of it closer.
I swear, I was going to ask you what it said, but (sort of but not really) saved myself the embarrassment. ;)
