weekend away.

A couple months ago it hit me that we are soon going to have three little ones. Three little ones three and under (at least for a while) Eeeek! And then it hit me….will Jay and I ever get time alone ever again? Ever? Of course, I know we’ll get time alone every now and then but I can’t imagine asking our folks to watch three itty bitty kids for a week let alone a short weekend so we could have some time away. Our “vacationing” time will be in our later years or when our kids are older, I’m sure. Especially since they are so close in age! However, last weekend we were able to have some time away, just the two of us, thanks to the help of our family! They all took turns watching the boys (awesome!) and it was so refreshing and a nice little break. Of course, by the end of the weekend, I missed the boys terribly and couldn’t wait to see them! Funny how that works, huh? ;)
