reagan brielle: one year!

How are you already one year old, baby girl? Time flies, and it has flown this past year. You bring us so much joy, and we are so glad you are ours! Your brothers adore you, and you will always be the “baby” in the family, I think ;) We love you, birthday girl!

The cutest little birthday girl – I just love her little smile, chubby cheeks and smiling eyes! Happy birthday precious girl x

inseparable.

I come down the stairs and see them both like this. They are definitely brothers and they are inseparable. Where one goes, the other follows. What one does, the other does. It is really so cute and they keep each other entertained. Beau repeats basically everything that his brother says. They can spend hours playing with their hot wheels together. Leland started preschool….

(his first day of school photo) ;)

…and Beau misses him like crazy. When Leland is at school, Beau still yells for him so that he’ll come and play with him. I’m so grateful that they are close in age and get along so well (ha, for the most part! they definitely have their moments) I hope that their friendship continues with them for many years to come. Love them! :)

the start of school.

Oh my goodness, today was Leland’s preschool orientation and I wanted to cry! I am so not ready for summer to end yet. Everyone is posting about fall and pumpkins and I’m over here still soaking up the sun and swimming every day we can. I do love fall though, so I guess I’ll welcome it with open arms….but for now, in this moment…it’s still summer to me ;) At least until Leland starts school next week.

Speaking of school….we received these amazing Adventures with Archer journals in the mail the other day for the boys and they LOVE them! They were created by the sweet Karen Stott and they are adorable. They were made for kids ages 4-10 in mind and are a daily journal to keep track of the year. The pages filled with Bible verses, coloring pages, and so much more. You can learn more about them here. You can receive 20% off any order of 2 or more journals if you use the code: Arielle ) I’m not a homeschool mom but what a perfect idea to start the day if I was! We’ll probably use Leland’s journal in the evening or after school as a devotional. Love it! :)

a day away.

A couple weeks ago, Jay and I took a day to ourselves in Indianapolis before going to a concert. With three little ones, I feel like it is so necessary to get some time alone together when we can. I’m so grateful that we were able to spend some time together! Even after six years, three kids, and multiple moves- Jay is still my best friend. :) Here’s some photos from our day together… P.S. Colony House, Drew Holcomb, Switchfoot & Needtobreathe were SO good!

…the cutest little park!

…so good!!

Wow, I can’t believe we are already a week into August. Where did this summer go? It has truly been a whirlwind! We have been so busy since moving into our house and I haven’t had much time to post anything for a while. Between moving, and weddings, and taking trips…it’s been a busy summer! These photos were taken probably two months ago and I had to share them. To me, these photos portray light- which I love.

If I were honest with you, the past year or so has been difficult for me. Just ask my husband :) It has not been an easy year. There are have been a lot of ups and downs, lots of emotions. Lots of stuff going on with my family and it hasn’t been fun. So when Reagan was born- she was a light, she was truly a gift. She (along with her brothers) have brightened up my days, and she has been such a gift through out this past year. I’m so grateful. God knows what we need and when we need it. She was one of those gifts that came at just the right time in our lives. So here are a few of my favorite pictures, just the two of us…

Always beautiful and love your heart, Arielle. <3

fourth of july at the lake.

We spent Fourth of July (and the week before) at the lake this year. The weather was beautiful and it was so nice to have a little getaway! The boys loved being on the boat and out on the water- Leland tubed for the first time and they both got to ride the jetskis. We also visited the Amish, ate (too much) of my grandma’s amazing food,  and mostly relaxed. I’m thankful for the memories that were made. These are just a few photos from our time at the lake– can we go back already? ;)

..got them all dressed for the fourth just because :)

love my family!

…they’re hugging each other, I promise!

…about the longest time beau would hold still for a picture ;) haha

my grandpa and reagan, so sweet!
